• Coastal sites within 100 metres of breaking surf where there is a constant salty smell and salt spray in the air
• Sites within close proximity to industrial emissions

COLORBOND® Ultra steel:

• Coastal sites approximately 100 to 200 metres from breaking surf where there may still be a smell of salt or salt spray in the air
• Sites situated 100 to 200 metres from the source of industrial emissions (fumes and/or particulate fallout) where the effects are typically lessened

Walling For Challenging Environments

SuperDura™ Stainless steel:

• Coastal areas up to 500 metres from breaking surf, or in calm marine locations

COLORBOND® Ultra steel:

• Sites situated between 500 and 1000 metres from marine influences

COLORBOND® Metallic steel should not be used for:

• Walling on sites within 1000 metres of marine influences
